“Born in the beautiful Midwest, I have treasured the outdoors with the ever changing seasons, riding my beloved Quarter horses, caring for my Bee’s and garden, my funny chickens, cooking and decorating, fly fishing, antiquing, traveling and caring for my precious grand babies all five of them! I try to stay curious about our world and determined to keep my childhood wonderment. All of this shapes my imaginations to create fun compositions with emotion with a story. I have had the great honor of graduating from Mastery program from Milan Art institute. My artistic journey was deeply shaped through graduating from the Institute, where I refined my voice as an Oil Painter and learned to balance realism with expressive abstraction. I have studied under the incredible British Artist, Lizzie Black who is based out of Mousehole, England. Lizzie expanded my technical skills in Still life helping me understand how to capture light, shadow and movement.”
